The DIN-116 flange coupling is torsionally stiff, extremely robust and reliable shaft coupler, which can withstand not only shock-loads, but also radial and axial stresses. The coupling must be aligned with great precision and supported by bearings on both sides. The material used is grey cast-iron or steel. Also available with axial pressure plates.
Suitable for applications where the bending of the shafts is considerable.
